About Cardiff
Cardiff Cashmere was founded in the 1980s by a family of entrepreneurs from Biella, Italy, with an exclusive focus on sourcing and refining the finest cashmere fibres. The raw material comes from Hircus goats in Inner Mongolia, prized for producing a particularly fine and durable undercoat. All manufacturing takes place within the Biella textile district, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern production methods. In the early 1990s, Cardiff extended its offering to include a hand-knitting yarn collection.
