About Cariaggi
Cariaggi was founded in 1958 by Aurelio Cariaggi in Cagli, in the Marche region of central Italy, specialising in the processing of precious natural fibres, particularly cashmere. The family-run spinning mill sources only the finest cashmere from Inner Mongolia and produces all its yarns entirely in Italy. Both Brunello Cucinelli and Chanel hold minority stakes in the company, reflecting its standing as a benchmark supplier in the global luxury textile industry.
