About Järbo
Järbo Garn traces its roots to a wool mill established in 1896 in the small Swedish town of Järbo, near Sandviken, where yarn was spun, dyed, and woven. From the 1960s onwards, the family-run business under Karl-Erik Blomberg shifted its focus to hand-knitting yarns, including the enduringly popular sock yarn Raggi. Today Järbo is based in Gävle and operates as part of Nordanå Crafts, which has also included the Danish brand Svarta Fåret since 2018.
Popular for: Nordic hand-knitting yarns, especially the sock yarn Raggi
