About John Arbon Textiles
John Arbon Textiles was founded in 2001 by John and Juliet Arbon in Lynton, North Devon, and operates one of the few remaining small-scale worsted spinning mills in England. The mill uses lovingly restored vintage machinery to process locally sourced British wool from breeds such as Exmoor Blueface, alongside sustainably farmed fibres. Since 2022, former employees Sonja and Helena have taken over the business, continuing its commitment to local wool and hands-on traditional spinning.
