About Lankava

Lankava was founded in 1925 by Lyyli Karppinen in Kauhava, Finland, and remains a family business now in its third generation. The company grew out of weaving traditions and has long been one of Finland's leading suppliers of rug and weaving yarns. Its range covers wool, linen, cotton, and paper yarn alongside its own Eco-Cotton line, spun from upcycled cutting waste from textile factories. The Eco-Cotton yarns require no dyeing: shades are created by sorting and blending the recycled fibres.

Popular for: Weaving and rug yarns, plus sustainable Eco-Cotton yarns from recycled fibres
