About PRU Yarns
PRU Yarns, short for Punk Rock Unicorn, was founded around 2020 by Dea, a former art director and tattoo artist, in the Vulkaneifel region of western Germany. Working from her own studio, she hand-dyes each skein with acid dyes, making every one unique. The range centres on Merino-based yarns, including the popular Soul sock yarn (superwash Merino with nylon) and the organic-certified Eco DK in 100% untreated Merino wool. All fibres are sourced mulesing-free.
